Last week the federal review panelists were announced along with the final terms of reference that will be used to guide the scope and details of our Environmental Impact Statement. Details of this development can be found in the announcement by the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. There is also a backgrounder giving some biographical information on the panelists. Find that information here. As always, we welcome open dialogue and discussions with all groups based on the facts surrounding New Prosperity. Our ongoing research and analysis on New Prosperity continues to confirm our strong belief that this project will deliver significant value to all Canadians in a sound and responsible manner.

2.) What is the current staus of the relationship between Taseko and the Tsilhqot'in Nation? Any recent set-backs or breakthroughs?
3.) In regards to the Jan 29/12 press release, has the Federal Environmental Minister named the review panel yet?
4.) In regards to the Feb 28/12 press release, how have the internal environmental tests been going? Anything you can share?

Any info would be much appreciated. Good Luck and lets make this approval happen!

I think this new proposal is well thought out and addresses most if not all of the concerns with the first proposal. Other than a few special interest groups everyone in the surrounding areas are in full support of this project. We NEED the jobs and economic activity here.

Please keep me posted as to when the Prosperity Mine is about to open. I want a job in mining. I want to live in the Chilcotin. I sure hope Prosperity gets it's approval soon.

As long as the birds remain happy and the fish thrive and the air for us all stays pure, what's the beef? Prosperity project with the skilled honorable taseko team at the helm sound like an excellent development at a time when economic growth is essential. Economic growth really means better emotional life as well as fulfillment of physical needs. If that's too high-flown, then think of it this way: better spirts and plenty of food on the table and less illness.
