Taseko President & CEO Russell Hallbauer wrote to the federal Minister of Environment on November 23, 2011 expressing the company’s desire that the Environmental Assessment process for the New Prosperity Project be fair and balanced and consistent with the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act. Unfortunately some media coverage generated by the interpretation of project opponents has led some people to conclusions that are inconsistent with the intent of the letter and its content.
